LITTLE LIZZIE ALSO KNOWN AS "ROSEBUD"
Rosie is a registered 2002 Belgian filly. She is my newest acquisition and my start of a new adventure of this life I have chosen to share with horses. I have found that life is too precious to stay in the same old rut and be happy about it. So for my life crisis, ( I refuse to use midlife because I am still deciding when to grow up) I have embarked on another learning odyssey. "Drafties" When we went to pick her up and she towered above all that were loading her, all I could think of "What was I thinking?" At only 17 months she stands nearly 16 hands.
As of 2006, Rosie stands at 17.1 and is HUGE !
She still remains a work in progress and she lavishes in the attention that I give her. She has answered just about any question I ask of her without hesitation. She is truly a gentle giant and is the sweetie that I sought for this time in my life.

She is also a source of many of the shots I take around the farm. Below is a picture that was awarded the "Peoples Choice Award" at the Equine Photographers Open Photo Show and Competition held in Santa Rosa, California. Andie Smith, one of my boarders is gracious enough to appear as my "hand model" !
