The true journey of competition is not in the winning but discovering the best in ourselves. We are a quiet, family owned and operated Farm conveniently located near the Interchange of Interstates 64 and 664 in the heart of Chesapeake, Va. My husband and I established this farm in 1981. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Management, Training, and Teaching which was preceded by many years of 4-H Club experience. Through the years I have had the opportunity to train, compete, and judge Arabians, Morgans, Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, Hunters and Warmbloods receiving Championships in disciplines of Halter, Driving, Western Pleasure, Saddle seat Pleasure, Hunter and Dressage. Many of my students have done the same under my dedicated and individualized coaching through the years. Now I mainly concentrate on operating a farm that ensures its boarders peace of mind that their horse is happy and properly cared for. Sunray Stables welcomes horses and riders of all disciplines and skill levels. You can be assured that the care your horse will receive will be practical, personal, and outstanding. I
have started providing photography services on a part time basis. If
